Terms & Conditions

 

Ownership

            This site is owned and operated by Huxstep Care Services. Our registered office is : 20 Tedder Road Bournemouth BH11 8BU.

 

            All rights to this website are owned by Huxstep Care Services, any unauthorised use, copying, or modification is prohibited.

 

Payment.

 

            All payments made to Huxstep Care Services shall be for the services provided by the company, or any product sold by special arrangement.

                       

Credit card payment At this time this service has been postponed

            Patients/customers wishing to pay by credit card will incur a 5% surcharge, this is to cover admin costs and commission charged by the credit card company. Payments by credit card will be debited on day of booking or the next working day. 

 

Cheque payments.

            Patients/customers paying by personal or business cheques must make cheques payable to Huxstep Care Services. Most transactions are in excess of the cheque guarantee card therefore this would be not binding within the limitations of the card limit.

Other methods

             Patients/customers may wish to pay by BACS or bank transfer,  details are  sent out via invoice.

 

Refunds  (in the unlikely event of an advance payment )

 

            Once a booking has been confirmed Huxstep Care Services only operates a refund under the following:

            More than 48hours notice

            The patient requires palliative care and is unable to travel due to deterioration of illness.

            The patient is too ill to travel, medical reason must be given.

            The patient has died.

 

Cancellations

Once a booking has been confirmed it is the policy of Huxstep Care Services charge the following:

 

            Greater than 48 hours notice – no cancellation fee

            Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours -10% charge

            Less than 24hours but more than 1hour -50% charge

            Less than 1 hour or once transport has left base – full amount based upon estimated time the journey would have taken.

 

We at Huxstep Care Services aim to provide services as promptly as possible. You accept that the services will more than often be provided shortly after the booking has been accepted and as a result you may only have a short time if any to cancel, under these circumstances it will be to the company’s discretion 

 

Late payment

            All Private bookings are strictly on a "pay on the day" basis.

            As from April 2008  Invoicing will be handled by Lloyds TSB invoice financing system.

 

VAT.

 

Huxstep Care Services are excluded from VAT for the reason that it provides an ambulance service to the sick, ill, disabled, and injured.

 

Privacy

We do collect information given at time of your booking this may include personal medical details. This information is not disclosed to any third party and is collected by Huxstep Care Services and protected by the data protection act 1998

 

            We do not email patients/customers except in connection with their booking or invoice; you will receive no newsletter special offers or other spam mail, unless written consent is given by the patient/customer.

 

            We aim to offer a top quality service at the best price possible, to do this we may need to reserve the right to change the above policies at any time.

Security

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your booking and payment secure. But unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused by unauthorised access to information provided by the patient/customer.

 

Business customers.

 

If you are a business, hospital, nursing/rest home that has an account or credit terms with Huxstep Care Services payments are made via LLoyds Commercial Finance Limited Invoice Financing. All relevant account information will be given on invoices or by request.

Any errors in Invoices MUST be identified as soon as possible so that corrections can be made. Once the proceedings are in place for invoice financing errors cannot be corrected therefore a credit note will be issued.

 

General

 

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated through our website 

 

There are links to and from our website to third parties which may be of interest to you. We have no control over the contents of these websites nor can we be liable in respect of anything contained within.

 

These terms and conditions govern the entire transaction between Huxstep Care Services and you and ourselves and will remain in force during our contract.

 

Any unauthorised use of material on this website is strictly prohibited.
